Where can I book my daughter's 18th birthday?

Help!

My daughter is going to turn 18 on Dec.11 and decided yesterday that she would like to have a party. She came to this decision after attending her friend's party last night.

I need some suggestions that aren't Villa Viviani, which seem to be the popular spot. There will be a maximum of 35-40 guests and I think Villa Viviani is a bit oversized. There will be adults present so the teenagers are not on their own.

I am thankful for any suggestions given the short time available.

What kind of party? Music, dancing and madness or buffet and quiet chatter.

For food + DJ you could try:

Twist Martini Cafè - via Generale Dalla Chiesa, 9 - Firenze.
Info: 055 65.07.935 or 335 10.18.372 (Andrea)
Web site: www.twistmartini.it

I'm not sure they speak English though. It's a nice place with a private room.

Thanks Jenny

I'll look into that. My daughter is completely bilingual so that shouldn't be a problem.

What about the Mayday club on Via Dante Alighieri?

I think they are available to rent the space for parties.

Do let us know where she finally decides on. It's so hard to know good places when you haven't lived in a city for years - and you find yourself out of the "locals" loop.
