The British Consulate General in Florence has jurisdiction over its nationals in Tuscany. It deals with requests for visas, passports, commercial information and general consular enquiries. It also provides a range of services to help UK companies develop their business in Italy.

In early 2007 the services provided by the Milan Consular Office moved to Rome. The Consulate General in Rome has both Trade and Consular Sections. The Trade Section aims to promote Italian-Canadian business relationships and offers advice to Canadian companies in Italy. The Consular section helps Canadian citizens with emergency passport applications and citizenship issues. It also provides and validates documentation.
