24-hour Pharmacies (chemists) in TuscanyThe Farmacia Aperte helpline helps people to locate an open pharmacy in Florence. It also assists those in need of urgent prescriptions and general information. The service is available 24 hours a day.
SMS Farmacie is a text message service providing a list of open pharmacies in the selected district. The message must contain 'farmacia' followed by the name of the district in Italian (e.g. farmacia livorno).
Every chemist is obliged to display a list of pharmacies open at night outside their door. The pharmacies open at night must keep their sign illuminated and the bell visible.
